Bobbili 1 MW Industrial Solar Plant

Project Summary
Client: Industrial Manufacturing Facility
A flagship 1 MW (1000 KW) industrial solar power plant designed, supplied, installed and commissioned by Rirvana Energy at Bobbili, Andhra Pradesh. Spread across the factory rooftop and adjoining ground area, the plant offsets a major portion of the facility's daytime power demand — directly reducing operating cost and carbon footprint. Engineered with Tier-1 mono-PERC modules, central / multi-string inverters, hot-dip-galvanised mounting structures rated for cyclonic wind loads, comprehensive LT/HT switchgear, lightning protection, earthing grid, and SCADA-based remote performance monitoring. Executed end-to-end including civil, structural, electrical and commissioning with the local DISCOM.
- 1 MW (1000 KW) grid-tied utility-scale plant
- Tier-1 mono-PERC modules + high-efficiency string inverters
- Hot-dip-galvanised structures rated for cyclonic wind loads
- Full LT/HT switchgear, lightning protection & earthing grid
- SCADA-based 24×7 remote performance monitoring
- Offsets ~1.5 million kWh of grid power per year
- End-to-end EPC by Rirvana Energy — civil, structural & electrical
Estimated Impact for the Owner
Based on AP/Telangana sun hours (~4.5 kWh/kWp/day) and an average grid tariff of ₹8/unit. Actual values vary with consumption pattern.
